Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — A Centre County man will spend at least two and half years behind bars after pleading guilty on child pornography charges.
It was almost a year ago, late last August, when police and agents from the state attorney general’s office served a search warrant on the Spring Mills area home of Lucas Garber.
The police raid resulted in the 27-year-old Garber being charged with 33 felony counts of possessing child pornography.
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WEAR) — Three people are dead after 18 were shot at a party in Baldwin County, Alabama Saturday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. in the Stockton Community.
"Our preliminary investigation has revealed that local residents hosted a May Day event yesterday in an open field on Upper Bryant’s Landing Road," Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. "We estimated that there were approximately 1,000 people attending this gathering.

UPDATE:EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees says a man found dead at an Ebensburg hotel Wednesday night shot himself after police approached him to question him about an active investigation.
Lees says the incident happened just after 11 p.m. Wednesday when police approached the Quality Inn along Route 22 to question 39-year-old Kenneth Kim.
According to Lees, Kim ran into his first-floor hotel room when he saw police.

Producer prices spike more than expected

Producer prices spiked again last month.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Tuesday released its Producer Price Index, a key marker of inflation, which showed a sizable increase in April.
The PPI rose 0.5% last month, the biggest increase in months and more than many experts predicted.

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — On Wednesday, officials in Clearfield County announced the appointment of the county's newest commissioner, following the resignation of former commissioner Antonio “Tony” Scotto.
President Judge Fredric Ammerman appointed Mary E. Tatum to fill the commission's vacancy.
Officials say Tatum, a Houtzdale resident, will serve as the third Clearfield County Commissioner for the remainder of Scotto's term.
Commissioner Tatum will officially begin serving out the term on Monday, Nov.
Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Blair County have filed over 100 new counts of various charges against an Altoona man who was arrested last month after being accused of inappropriately filming a 3-year-old child.
Police say Nasir Garner was arrested on July 17th following an investigation into allegations that he was discovered recording an acquaintance's young daughter while the child was semi-clothed.
Upon further investigation, police say officers seized multiple devices that belonged to Garner, one of which reportedly contained nearly 300 images of suspected child pornography.
