Pittsburgh (WJAC) — According to Pittsburgh Steelers inside reporter Gerry Dulac, quarterback Kenny Pickett reportedly underwent "tightrope" surgery on his ankle Monday morning. Pickett left Sunday's game in the second quarter after injuring his ankle while scrambling towards the goal line on a third down. Following the surgery, Pickett is expected to be out at least two to four weeks, according to reports. However, Dulac reports that the Steelers are hopeful that Pickett can return by month's end.
JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — A new sculpture park was unveiled in Johnstown Thursday. The Bottle Works Ethnic Arts Center celebrated the addition, made by artist Norman Ed, to the First National Bank Pop Plaza, which is located in community greenspace in the historical district of Cambria City. The ceremony highlighted partnerships made to make the space a community resource. CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Hundreds of athletes from around the area and surrounding states made the trip to Cambria County this weekend. The Varsity Encore Cheerleading Championship -- called the "Encore Johnstown Showdown" -- is being held at the Cambria County War Memorial. Organizers say just under 1,000 athletes and about 2,500 fans are expected to fill up the 1st Summit Arena over the weekend. This event marks the first cheerleading competition to be held at the arena since 2010.

It was a tearful goodbye not just for this most recent and final class of children at Bennetts Valley Elementary — but for the generations of people who walked those halls. ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (WKRC) - The winner of a marathon was disqualified after taking and drinking water from his father during the race. According to PEOPLE, 24-year-old Esteban Prado initially finished in first place in the Orange County Marathon on Sunday. Per the publication, he crossed the finish line with a time of 2 hours, 24 minutes and 54 seconds, but was disqualified soon after. USA Today reported that Prado's father rode up to the former winner on a bike and gave him water during the competition.

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Gunfire that erupted during a block party early Sunday morning left two people dead and 28 others injured, according to Baltimore City Police. Police said they were still looking for the suspects. Metro Crime Stoppers released the identities of the two victims killed in the incident. Officials say Kylis Fagbemi, 20, and Aaliyah Gonzales, 18, were both fatally shot. Acting Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said out of the 28 other victims, at least 15 were minors.
