KANSAS CITY. Mo (TND) — One of the men charged with murder following a shooting at a celebratory parade was released from the hospital. It's been a week since shots were fired in downtown Kansas City at the Chiefs' Super Bowl celebration.
Since then, authorities have detained two juveniles and charged two adults with the murder of Lisa Lopez-Galvan. Prosecutors announced Tuesday they charged both adults - Lyndell Mays, of Raytown, Missouri, and Dominic Miller, of Kansas City, Missouri - with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
EAST TAYLOR TOWNSHIP, Pa (WJAC) — The road leading back to the Hinkston Run Dam in East Taylor township will be repaved beginning Monday.
Officials say it will take about three weeks to mill, slope and repave the two-mile-long road.
Several pot holes along the road will also be filled.
They say this construction will make it easier to bring vehicles and trailers back to the boat ramp.

Crews respond to fatal ATV accident

STONYCREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — State police in Somerset County are investigating a fatal accident that happened Saturday morning.
According to a release, 21-year-old Alex Fitchett died after falling off an all-terrain vehicle on Boone Road near Huckleberry Highway.
Police said while Fitchett was driving, he hit a large puddle and fell off the ATV. Officials said Fitchett died from his injuries after falling off the vehicle.
State police and the Somerset County coroner are investigating.
CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — DuBois officials and business owners are preparing for a new national pilot program the city has been selected for.
"Main Street America" officials will be in DuBois Wednesday to explain "equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem."

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — December is a huge month for Rizzo's Restaurant in Windber, with families and friends traditionally dining inside for the Holidays and New Year's Eve.
"Normally, it's so busy here that you can't even move," said manager Danette Chippie.
But due to new COVID-19 mitigation efforts announced Thursday, those traditions won't be happening this year.
The restrictions include prohibiting bars and restaurants from providing indoor dining services over the next three weeks.
CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities say a Centre County man is behind bars after police allegedly found dozens of child pornography files on his phone.
In late March, police began investigating 28-year-old William Welsh after a witness disclosed an alleged sexual assault.
According to the affidavit, Welsh reportedly told the witness that he had sexually abused a 2-year-old boy whom he was babysitting.
Police say the witness also reported that Welsh had child porn on his computer that he planned to delete.
PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — 39-year-old Christopher Lee Pray pled guilty to five felony cases and was sentenced to 264 months in prison on Monday. His trial was expected to take about three days but cut a plea deal instead.

According to a press release from UPMC, babies that are born this time of year receive special, customized onesies and "crocheted flower hats" made by volunteers.
On Tuesday, UPMC Altoona welcomed the birth of baby Lavaydah.
Her family, who is from Tyrone, now has another May birthday to celebrate, as mom Jaaden and older brother Weston both have birthdays later this month.
SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — A man from California is facing charges for attempted homicide at a Somerset hotel shooting last month, according to Somerset District Attorney Molly Metzgar.
On the morning of January 4, police say they arrived at the Holiday Inn Express where the victim, a Lancaster man, was allegedly found shot twice outside of the hotel around 1:30 a.m.
Officials say Andrew Vega was taken into custody after a vehicle pursuit in the state of Indiana.
